IDH has a very robust quality management system which is audited and certified by BASEC and LPCB. The IDH Quality management System certification includes requirements for design, manufacture and supply of our full range of cables and covers not only product approval but also environmental and health and safety approvals.

There is an ever increasing amount of substandard unapproved and dangerous cable available on the market at the moment. It has been estimated that 27% of all electrical fires in the UK are due to faulty electrical cables having been installed.

IDH promotes the use of quality BASEC approved cables.
